I was born and raised in Amsterdam. I'm based in the UK (various cities) but I was born and raised in Amsterdam, Netherlands. As a child I often accompanied my musician parents on tour. I taught myself to read using comicbooks, having emphatically rejected the idea of elementary school.
My first comic, Weirdism (no longer online), was done in collaboration with several writers. Stuff Sucks is a solo project launched in December 2004. I'm a full-time English & Writing student. After school I organize music events, and work as a part-time band-stylist to pay the bills. My fossilized skills include playing the violin, ballet dancing, and at one point, singing vocals in a punk band.
