Welcome! You have totally reached my online art and comics hub, where I post my drawings and journal comics and elaborate pieces of bad advice with some frequency. If you're looking for the Stuff Sucks comic, it's over there now.

My name's Liz Greenfield. I was born and raised in Amsterdam.
I'm based in the UK (various cities) but I was born and raised in Amsterdam, Netherlands. As a child I often accompanied my musician parents on tour. I taught myself to read using comicbooks, having emphatically rejected the idea of elementary school.
My first comic, Weirdism (no longer online), was done in collaboration with several writers. Stuff Sucks is a solo project launched in December 2004.

I'm a full-time English & Writing student. After school I organize music events, and work as a part-time band-stylist to pay the bills. My fossilized skills include playing the violin, ballet dancing, and at one point, singing vocals in a punk band. Fortunately the desire to make comics has outlived both the mohawk and tutus.

Email me if you feel so inclined!

Look I am jumping the bandwagon of End Of Year lists. I never manage to complete a top ten albums or songs - I get caught up listening to my favourite tunes and soon lose interest in creating order - so instead here are some googled images of recent acquisitions, because you gotta have a sense of humour about capitalism in times of a global credit crunch. Enjoy!

Copied from Fleen.com:

"There are, of course, few places warmer than a working kitchen, and it appears that Liz Cusack Greenfield has found a kitchen to work in. “Less time for comics” is the downside for you and me, but “Don’t have to run an internet store any more” is the upside for Liz. To celebrate, it’s a closing-up-shop sale at the Stuff Sucks Boutique — get your orders in now, because come the first of the year, it’s shuttered for good..." (Continued)

I am hard at work typing English essays this weekend, so as to ring in the new year with a clear conscience, perhaps. I'm not sure yet whether to go the night out or house party route this New Year's Eve. What have you got planned?
Merry Christmas, Friends!
